Yeshiva Gedolah Zichron Moshe

Zalman Silber has been a huge financial supporter of the Yeshiva Gedolah Zichron Moshe for many years.

The Yeshiva Gedolah Zichron Moshe, also known as Yeshiva of South Fallsburg, is a private Rabbinical college, or Yeshiva, located in a rural setting, in South Fallsburg, Sullivan County, New York. During the 2006-2007 academic year, it had 181 students, a decrease from 191 during the previous year. As a Rabbinical college, all students are male. The yeshiva is known for its virulent chareidi outlook.

The two Roshei Yeshiva ("deans") are Rabbi Elya Ber Wachtfogel.R Elya Ber is the son of R Nosson Wachtfogel, the previous mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood , NJ ( BMG) and Rabbi Abba Gorelick. R Abba Gorelick is sometimes referred to as "The Chief " due to his extensive administrative role. The Gorelick family traditionally is thought to "own" the yeshiva and surrounding area.

Known colloquially as "Fallsburg," it has the reputation of one of the better litvish yeshivas in America. Following a stint in Fallsburg, bochurim usually spend time in Israel, ideally in one of the many Brisker instituitions there . R Avraham Yehoshua Solaveitchik is known to accept a high percentage of graduates of Yeshiva of South Fallsburg.

It is accredited by the Association of Advanced Rabbinical and Talmudic Schools and offers both the Bachelor’s Degree, as well as first professional certification.
